i'd love to put a photo on but have no idea how any ideas? I looked at the thingy to do this and well still no idea. I don't do tech ?
Photos are posted in the same way as before, it's still not possible to directly upload a photo. So you need to store them somewhere like flickr, dropbox etc. and then post a link. Unless you mean an avatar?
If you have a photo on a laptop or ipad or smartphone you should be able to directly upload it. If you click on your name at the top to open your profile you should see where to do it.
I might give it a go in a few days when I'm functioning on a more normal level if not I will find a teenager they will know how to do it
Still really struggling to post Avatar. Keep being told the server cannot handle the size of file i am trying to upload. Deeply frustrated! I could have painted a b portrait of her and hand delivered it to all Forum members in the time I have wasted on this project. Is there a preferred photo hosting website. I am currently on flickr, but haven't got much there so would be happy to change.
Ooh sorry to hear your struggling to upload an avatar. I changed mine last night within a couple of minutes and had no problem with sizing. I also posted a photo of Juno from Flickr on Tuesday, more to try out the new forum, with no problems.
Tina, I'll PM you my email address and you can email the photo to me, so I can put it up for you As for a hosting service, I use Imgur. I find it easy to use. I use a laptop, I've never used it on a mobile device, so not sure how well it works with that.
