Gorgeous Mollie! Ah, I wish my two were as welcoming as beautiful Tatze. We're up to having playtime in the garden (but they all stay in their own space, they don't really interact) but still not in the house yet. It will come, in time, but I am a bit (a lot!) jealous How heavy is Mollie now? We went to the tip yesterday and my arms were aching after only a few minutes of carrying the Squidge!
Tatze was used to having pups from 15 months old, I think that makes all the difference - she's an old hand (paw) at it and knows just how to keep those sharp gnashers at bay! I took Mollie to the vets to be weighed yesterday and she's 12Kg, I don't carry her far any more!
I think Luna will be there or thereabouts by the time she can go on the floor. Ah well, at least it means I don't have to do any bicep curls
Hehe, this is Luna's normal sleeping pose. Except, she still shuns her vet bed most of the time, to sleep on the floor. She runs rather hot, does our Luna.
I noticed this about Rory too. floor for him with no vet bed and quarry tiles.he's always hotter than the other dogs.
A "zerbert" is the same as blowing a raspberry, usually on someone's tummy. Puppy bellies are perfect spots.
It's Mollie's first ever free run today - I can't wait! She knows not and is happily snoozing by my feet. Tatze is out for her long morning walk with Mr Boogs then Mollie and I will go to the park. Exciting 'tho a misty and murky day ...
Ah, lovely! Luna had her 12-week jabs yesterday. The vet said to give it a couple of days, then she can go on the ground, as long as it's not near fresh water (lakes, streams, ponds). But she's OK to go to the beach! Yay!
Mollie was very unsure at first and stuck to me like glue, she found her feet after a while and began to enjoy the sniffs and the freedom. We did several recalls and she was really good. We met two lovely friendly dogs, one young schnauzer and a lovely old Lab cross. Both times Mollie stood between my legs and just looked at them while I chatted to their owners. Here's her first little free run recall. It was hard to get far enough away to blow the whistle.
