I've just taken Mollie for her first free run with Tatze. She loved it, but at first she wouldn't leave Tatze alone and was a nuisance - she hardly noticed where she was! After a while she started taking notice and enjoying the walk. She stayed very close and gave dogs we met a sniff, but didn't try to play with them. We met all sorts, staffies, terriers, collies and greyhounds. Some little growlers and some friendly pooches. All went well, I think she took her cues from Tatze - sniff the friendly ones, walk away from the little growlers ...
Oh, Willow did this to me the other day! It was my fault, I was playing "grabby leg" with her, and got her all riled up. It's still sore, but I avoided the black eyes!
When I finally went into the sitting room to watch television yesterday evening I found the sofa occupied by two dogs who just glanced up and went back to sleep. I sat on 'Wispa's chair'. Neither of them is allowed on the furniture except by invitation...
Where I'm staying, there's a three-seater sofa and a big armchair, both of which are very comfy, and a two-seater which is not. I tend to sit in the armchair. Sadly, it's also Shadow's favourite. Willow likes stretching out on the sofa. Which means, I get relegated to either the arm of the chair, or the uncomfy sofa. It is what it is.
Inevitably! I was somewhat surprised because Wispa is usually on 'her' chair (she chooses one with an extra cushion on it, a bit like the Princess and the Pea) and Tuppence is on the sofa waiting for me to arrive so that she can have her evening cuddle. Yesterday it seemed as if there was a bit of a conspiracy going on!
Thanks! It looks ok now, fingers crossed I have an important meeting with a client tomorrow and I can only imagine how that would go Serves me right for making him wait to long for the treat then asking for a kiss
If Ella walks up to the couch and we've left the TV remote on the seat she just looks at the remote then at me and back to the remote again and again until I move it out of her way! I always find myself apologising as I move it
I've entered Stanley into a modelling competition near us. I really hope he wins, obviously I'm totally biased but he's by far the cutest dog to enter so far OH thinks I'm mad and keeps pulling face
Unfortunately not It's just one of those like & share things on Facebook. He only wins a photoshoot but I'd love a nice pic of him for the wall
Just back from a lovely forest walk with my local dog club. It's sunny here and it wasn't too muddy because of the frosts last week. There were around a dozen dogs and owners all enjoying themselves off lead - good fun.
I love Rory. He walked so well on his lead today when we went into town. It was a real pleasure to watch him walk confidently and happily round a busy town centre. He may never do it again in his life but I love that dog
