11 weeks 8.3kg. Poppy has slimmed down and now has a defined waist. I am only feeding her 75% of what the food packet says but the vet said that's about right.
Finn is 3 days shy of 4 months and is 18 pounds! That's 8.16 kg. I'm not that concerned because he appears very healthy and has plenty of energy...but I'm a bit surprised. I won't complain because if I could have had anything I wished it would be a pocket lab, but I just hope he's ok. He was just at the vet for his last shots and they didn't say anything, so I assume he's ok.
Sparky had a visit to the vet today. 68.8 lbs at 32 weeks. Weight gain has definitely slowed with only a 4 lb weight gain over the course of 3 weeks. He's definitely slimming down now and i can feel his ribs as if it was under a fleece blanket.
Got an update on my 36 week old Lab Kobe is getting a little bit overweight, will cut down a little bit on meals and give him more exercise daily. 36 weeks and 33.4 kgs
Lucy at 14 weeks has reached the dizzying heights of 6.05kg! She has doubled her weight since she came home at 8.5 weeks!
Marley is now 5 mths old in Dec he weighed 6kg he was weighed yesterday and is 13kg does this seem small for his age or could it be to do with food it's been a long time since we had a lab puppy and our arnie was a big boy from the beginning weighing 39kg full grown
It's within the range of other puppies on this forum. Look at the chart here: https://thelabradorforum.com/threads/how-much-does-your-puppy-weigh.5888/page-49#post-260749
Thanks looking at that he is on the thin side he was poorly to begin with due to worms and has a chicken allergy have been feeding him on beco wild boar natural food which actually agrees with him so hopefully weight will pick up he is always jumping about too so burns off everything he eats very quickly
My boy Shadow was often skinny as a puppy and isn't your typical Labrador that piles on the pounds easily. I wouldn't worry about it too much, as long as he doesn't get too thin. Get your vet to have a look if you're worried. Don't increase his food too quickly; adding an extra meal may be easier on him than adding more to his existing meals. If Shadow is over-fed, it will pass straight through him, so it had to be increased very gradually.
They differ so very much don't they ? And there is no right or wrong unless they are extreme of either end of the scale ! Sam was about 16 kilos when he had his second vaccinations , he now weighs 40 kilos but with no fat, just a very big dog x
Harley is a small pup, she was only 3.3kgs at 9 weeks. She is now 13.3kgs at 18 weeks. Her mom wasn't a large dog and Harley was the smallest of the litter but she was also thin and underfed when we fetched her.
