Today I've found out that Stanley's day care is shutting down. I feel really sad - I said to OH how am I going to tell Stanley? It's his favourite place. OH looked at me like At the moment I'm a bit panicked. I don't really know who else I would trust with my boo. I'm really upset because we were so happy with his day care arrangements - it was out of their control so I 100% understand but I'm unsure what we're going to do. We're going to have to rely on family until we can get something sorted but that's not ideal. And we've just booked a weeks holiday to Greece thinking he'd just be able to go to his daycare. Really not ideal
Aww no way @JenBainbridge how come theyre closing? That isnt goood news. I hope you find something suitable soon
Rolo is so cuddly and clingy since his little bite incident. He is fine in himself beside wanting more cuddles as he isnt usually over cuddly. Was so brave at the vet proud dog mum.
@Jyssica a few neighbours have put in a complaint from the barking so the council are imposing too many restrictions. @Rosie we're in the north east near Durham I've got a few appointments with dog walkers and some other day care places. It's just a shame because he's gone there since he was about 15 weeks old and they love him & he loves them.
Our dog walker is from a daycare that closed down and she kept a few of the clients and just does word of mouth since then - any chance one of the staff will take him 1:1 until you find another solution?
That's sort of what we had. She ran it from her home so there's nowhere for her to take him. I think we're going to have to decrate him and get a dog walker to come and get him for an hour. All the other daycares in the area are at least double the price. And they look a bit OTT to me. I'm all for fun activities for the dogs but one of them gathers all the dogs around together and reads them a story. That would not go well with my puppy - he would run riot and probably steal the book Luckily OH works nights a lot of the time so although Stanley will be on his own OH will be in the house and hear if he's barking or something.
I'm in Heidelberg visiting my son. Missing the dogs of course. Mollie is with another puppy walker and Tatze with her best friend Zaba.
Why are some people so miserable...was outside a corner shop with my lab, posting a few letters, when some man walking out gave my dog and me the dirtiest look and then steered wide around us, like he's some kind of vicious attack dog! We were nowhere near the entrance to the store either
