I have a couple experiences with it. Once, for 10 days over Christmas holiday, we were going abroad and our professional dog daycare couldn't take them. Well to be honest, I liked the Dogbuddy family better! Lovely family, the dogs were well looked after and happy. The other experience, we had to leave them for a couple of nights when we had to take care of some moving hassles across country and couldn't bring the dogs. Again, lovely lady, the dogs were right at home!

They've both been very conscientious about the dogs' well-being. You can go to their homes first to get a feel for it, and also, there are reviews for each person. It's not going to be a formal environment, it's like a layperson who loves dogs basically, so I guess it depends what you feel comfortable with and what your needs are. But I've had a great experience and would definitely use the service again if needed.

OH took Molly for her walk this morning and on return he told me she'd picked up a dead seagull, but when he'd said 'Leave it' she did. He was surprised and i was really pleased as I've worked so hard on this and know she will leave dead birds now for me but wasn't sure it would transfer to OH.

Am I the only one that likes to push up their dog's lip to make them look "evil"?

Newbie here and I gotta say that I absolutely love this thread. It's good knowing that Bella and I aren't the only ones who are less than perfect (so there, crazy neighbour).
I just had an interesting experience while walking Bella...I was having a totally normal conversation with her when all of a sudden some guy actually replied to my question (to her) about the weather. I was like, "Huh?"
He was like, "Didn't you just ask me if the weather was supposed to get better?"
"No, sorry, I was talking to HER" I say, pointing at Bella who decided it would be a good tome to lick her privates.....
    Oh well.

Had the nicest walk. Did about 6 moles over fields and farmland. It was sunny and warm and the mud is drying up. I saw fieldfare flying and badger and muntjac foot prints. Rory was so happy. When i took Moo out for her walk after she seemed happy and relaxed. She trotted around and was just a bit out of breath . Such a good afternoon

When I walked Rory a cat decided it would be fun to walk along the wall on the otherside then pop up onto the top of the wall to scare Rory. It did it 4 times, Rory was very good he did bark a little but I could tell he was ok just wondering what the hell the silly thing was up too. I did laugh it just wouldn't go away
