I went through several cheap dog guards but have finally bought a travall guard. They make guards for most cars and I am really pleased with the one I have. I have a removable divider in the boot which keeps each dog separate and is great when I only have one dog with me as I can then put my shopping in the other side. It's very secure and well worth the money.

I also have a Travall guard. If I had the space (I have three Labs), I'd have a TransK9 dog crate.

I bought a Saunders for my Astra. The "legs" of it follow the line of the seat back, so you don't lose any space like you do with a cheaper universal guard. It fastens to the head rests with nylon straps that Coco fancied nibbling, so they're wrapped in towels.

Many car mfgs. have their own custom guard designed to fit well and be anchored solidly. We have had them in our last two Subarus.

Try Barjo. They make guards, tailgate guards and boxes. I have a TransK9 crate which is great but I've heard good things about Barjo.
