Ive got a Toyota RAV4 and have had Harley and 2 of her friends (Spinones) in there with her. I love it because the ride height is good for me and really good on bumpy roads and on tracks off road. Really spacious and you can get a roof box. I think it looks nice too. Might be worth a look?

Does Trader Joe's still make yummy dog cookies in the shape of an Outback? I always thought that being immortalised in a dog cookie somehow made the Outback THE official dog car!

    Leave my car alone! :donttalk:

Haha, you're right. We've been finding the kid/dog/pram combination a bit tricky and will probably upgrade soon.

Skoda Superb - brilliant car, tons of space, especially with the seats down. We transport 3 labs easily.

    :)

In crates/behind a guard? I would need at the very least two compartments - one for Luna and one for W&S.

We now have a Renault Grande Espace, but looking for another car. We are looking for a car where our Finn can easily jump into! There is a new Volvo coming up the end of the year. That's what we are aiming for.

My sister who has 3 dobermann's is driving a Citroen caddy. She has 3 crates in it in the back. She is very pleased with this car!

Naaah, you know you want a ute. Toyota Hilux! They're the traditional farmer's car here. Install crates on the flat bed.

We have a Hilux - it has a back on it so rain OK. It's a huge jump up/down to the rear bed (or the seats for that matter) though. We use it for travelling across - When driving, Coco sits on the back seat, when static on the boat he has a crate in the back - OH doesn't trust him not to go crazy & chew if left for a few hours. I'd hate to drive with him in the very back as we wouldn't be able to talk to him!

We have all three in one crate, but we don't go long distances. But, with just a guard it would be comfortable for three on long journeys too :)

I drive a Nissan Pathfinder. Nice big flat boot, can seat 7 if needed and each seat folds flat independently so easy to accomodate luggage and dogs. Is a little basic inside but does have proper 4x4.
