Hah before you know it she'll be removing the knobs off your oven like Charlie! Beautiful retrieve, though. I mean, she actually brings the ball BACK to you! I'm dead impressed
She 's doing so well! Such enthusiasm, too! Wispa is from show lines and has always loved retrieving. She quickly learnt to drop her toy ready for it to be thrown again, although she waits for Tuppence to be held back if she tries to grab it. Wispa gets so excited, though, that we have to be careful not to let her over-exert herself. Tuppence is working line and literally throws her ball at me indoors to make me throw it for her. Outside, though, although she retrieves she then likes to run around with the toy in her mouth (or preferably more than one toy!), then loops round after Wispa, who's busy demonstrating a proper retrieve. It seems that 'working' or 'show' doesn't necessarily have much bearing on retrieval skills!
Clever girl Luna I think I must of been very lucky with Fred and Annie. Fred loves her to bits and she knows it
You may find that you cannot dial it down My dog loves his tennis ball and now he will suddenly run up and stand in front of me with that certain look on his face, which means he has put his tennis ball down quite a way away and I have to say "where's your ball" and he runs off and fetches it! Puts out his own retrieves
Now that is something worth training. Save all that stomping around, placing dummies. #lazyandiknowit
