Charlie did last week, he was so ill he couldn't have cared less what was poked up his bum Hattie never has and she's 9 years old. Not really something you can clicker train for either x
Not directly clicker train but you can work on desentising the dog by handling and holding/lifting the tail to replicate the action - minus the thermometer. It may not be a perfect solution but at least provides some preparation
