Quinn was so good yesterday...she recalled from a family with kids throwing sticks in the water for her and their young spaniel and spit out an apple when asked and didn't try to go for it again. Fingers crossed she acts like that at our first dog sports class this weekend!!

I always forget how silly moo is but she always reminds me. Today she bu@@ered off into a big thick hedge and wouldn't come out. It was good in there and couldn't hear me;)

I was soaked waiting for her when she finished snuffling. We were so wet then she wanted a big snuggly rub down but I'm obviously I'm not good enough so she ran about squeeling rubbing her self on the furniture. I just find her funny she's nearly 14 and loves her life as far as she's concerned its still all about her. I love her and always have but in those moments when she's being herself I find myself loving her more. Tiny and silly.
she's just a funny cute little hedonist who is convinced we are all here for her pleasure and all soft furnishings are better with damp lab fur on them.

Play pool is up, parasols are up and sunscreen is on Vanilla's face. Rest of the week is hot and so are the night time temps. She will enjoy herself while we are stuck at work for the week. Not sure that is really fair, but just have to join as soon as get home...

Since Coco got his new harness at the beginning of January, he has been walking SO well for me. I am bowled over by how good he has been.
It's not all down to the harness, I can take some credit myself - OH still complains that he pulls, well he would because he lets him! But even OH prefers the new harness.

Feeling proud and positive. Thank you to @Beanwood for finding the Haqihana.

Good to know! I'm searching for a harness for Axel to replace the gentle lead for new environments and such.

As I am currently in a sad state of doglessness, I don't usually have many random dog thoughts to add here...but...I just found out there is a BIG FAT DOG SHOW in Sevilla this weekend where I can go and stare at LABRADORS and other breeds too for the WHOLE DAY.
    Yay! :monkey:

Last year there were chickens, too. Which IS a bit odd to have in a dog show but, hey...Spain. :D

You should always, ALWAYS be suspicious when there is quiet in the room. Double trouble

That's the plan! Actually last year's Seville show was where I first started looking at Labs at all. I'd gone to see mainly the Rotties, but ended up enjoying seeing the Labs much more. Mainly because the Rottie handlers were out of their minds  but I was surprised at how much I liked the Labs as I'd never given the breed much serious thought. So full circle this year as I'm DEFINITELY going for the Labs, but will also enjoy seeing the Rotties and other breeds amongst the chaos.

And yes, I think I may skip the chickens this year. Seems weird to me to mix animals you share your couch with to ones you (might) eat. But again...Spain. :D
