Harley has puppy class tomorrow but her mouth is sensitive due to teething and she is not enjoying kibble and other treats. Will cooked chicken breasts cut into bits do? And do I just boil the chicken?

Chicken would be perfect. Cook it however you wish :)
I often roast a whole chicken or shoulder of pork just for the dogs!

Lol. DH's face would be priceless if I did that. He complains that he doesn't get roasts

Does Harley like cheese? I used small cubes of cheese for Bramble, I only used it for classes though, she adores cheese! Oh and hot dog sausages :)

Cheese, hotdogs, chicken, sausages etc. are all great. I find chicken a little annoying as it tends to shred a bit and I find I'm dropping little bits and pieces which causes Ella to lose focus.

I tend to use cheese, hotdogs, sausage and that "mystery meat" sandwich loaf stuff you can get from the deli in the supermarket

I'm like Emily I find chicken too fiddly for training - I keep that as a meal treat - however I am convinced I permanently smell of hot dog sausages and cheese! Bailey will do ANYTHING for either of those!

Beef is a good one - it doesn't shred. Sausage - seems to be some sort of magical treat at our dog school. When newcomers are "failing" with their commercial treats, the call goes out from our trainer "who's got some sausage I can have..?" and their dog is suddenly able to do it.

Hot dogs. You can get preservative free ones, I think they are called Hebrew National. I just used the regular ones. I might not have gone through even one whole hot dog in a one hour class because I can cut one into 100 pieces. I found cooked chicken just broke all up into little fibres of tiny size. Cooked roast of beef or pork stayed together better. Hot dogs are more slippery though and slide down the gullet easily.
