Only those of you who, like I, took the dog for a walk this morning (March 8!) in -20 C with a wind chill of -30C, can truly appreciate that ol' "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb" thingy.....roar.....:cold:

I'm not entirely sure that these ads have gone down terribly well on the politically correct blah di blah scale, but it popped into my head anyway.
Apologies for anyone it may offend.
And apologies it has nothing to do with dogs

I go with a friend who is notorious for getting lost. Over the years we have been all over the place. You would get there quicker than I will tomorrow! We get lost every year even with a Sat nav. From Leicester we have ended up in Tamworth and the malverns.;)

Had a yuk week with the kid in hospital again (he's ok - third severe bout of bronchiolitis but manage to skip the ICU trip this time) so poor Ella has been left alone much more than usual. Headed up to the parents property today and gave Ella a good run and swim in the dams as soon as we got there. She then came inside and did five sets of bum tuck-zoomies in about 20 minutes... Nearly wet myself laughing :cwl:

Thanks Joy, unfortunately we've done it a few times now. Being at the children's hospital gives you a whole new perspective on life though.

Crazy Ella zoomies makes you remember to stop taking yourself so seriously :D

I'm glad that Nathan's ok, that must have been incredibly scary. I hope his hospital stays are behind him now.

I thought owning a dog would make me fitter and healthier with all the walking I would be doing.

But it's made me fatter! I used to go to the gym, which I've substituted for dog walking and I used to drink lots of wine which has been substituted for eating cake and cosy nights in.

Today at work - my trousers split. Right up the bum! :cwl::facepalm:

It's a good job Stanley doesn't love me for my body ;)
