Hi all...well I was starting to worry a bit when I weighed Bubba today, but reading all your comments there's no need...I just had no idea some Labs grew so fast. Bubba is 18 weeks today (born 16th October 2016)...is that correct? I just weighed him and he's just 17kg...4kg in a month. I panic feeling his ribs but yes, he's still got them...lol. No idea what he will be fully grown but his paws are huge.
My guy is an English and weighed about 5.9kg (13 pounds) at 8 weeks and is 5.5 months and weighs 21kg (about 48 pounds)
Luna, at 17 weeks, weighs 14.7kg. Only 0.3kg apparently put on in the last week, but I weighed at home for the first time, rather than at the vet's, as we're now back in Andorra. So, I'm convinced this small increase is actually larger, and is just down to a discrepancy in the scales.
If you look at the chart of forum dogs here, you'll see that's pretty much bang in the middle: https://thelabradorforum.com/threads/how-much-does-your-puppy-weigh.5888/page-49#post-260749
10 months and 20.8 kg. Little pipsqueak! I measured her and she's 53 cm which means she's shrunk by 1 cm since 9 months I'll have to measure her again when I've got a helper.
Vanilla just turned 11months is 30.7kg. Both her parents are big, not fat but muscular. She has been told to loose a couple of kg to get a trimmer tummy tuck. Won't take long given the amount of running/swimming she does.
Ziggy is now 6 months old and he is going to be a very big boy. His mum was a golden girl and his dad a very very big black lab. He was desexed a few weeks ago and it was like a switch was flicked, settled him down a lot. He was weighed last week when he had his stitches out and is 37 kg. His paws are huge. Yes there is a little puppy fat but still a lot of skin to grow into. He is going to grow into my gentle giant and yes he does dit on my lap in the arm chair.
Stanley got weighed today so at 11 months is 23.8kg. On his first weigh in at 9 weeks the vet told me he was 1.9kg. I never thought he'd make it to as big as he is now!
