.....what happened yesterday evening. Had a funny day really, Red was very whiny especially when I left the room and when I put her in her crate for a rest. This is new - normally she is keen to go for her rests and when she does, I spend as much time as I can with Sky our 10 year old Lab who won't go anywhere near Red unless she sees Red on lead. Anyway, during the evening, Red is in her crate in the sitting room - muttering away - and me feeling guilty she is in her crate but we were so tired by that point. My DH took her out for a play which tired her out and then low and behold, she sits on her bed and stays there unleashed. She then fell asleep. After about 45 minutes, she wakes up and came and lay next to Sky who seemed quite content. We played a game of touch and they got treats. Can't tell you how my heart soared to see both dogs together and happy. I know we have a long way to go but it's a start
