We have this in our house. OH can sit on the sofa, the as soon as I get there Vanilla will jump up and snuggle. We even tried me lifting her head and I move to allow.my OH to get in under. Vanilla will.move as soon as I go. All I hear is 'You b^=#' in a polite way.

Weirdly my mouth has started to react badly to cheese I've just had to explain to Moo and Rory that I won't be buying any more cheese. It has caused panic and inquiries to Labrador help line:rolleyes:

Puppy snuggles are the best. OH was so happy that Axel cuddled with him for once instead of me  it didn't last long. Axel is a mamma's boy :D

It was a very pleasant Easter Sunday service at Church today. We decorated a cross with flowers - very striking and moving. Mollie was a good girl and, as usual, raised a few smiles when she came up with me for communion and received a dog biscuit.

When we were on our walk today we met an older man with two dogs. Stanley started to jump up at the man and I told him to get down but the man was like no, no pet.. leave him to me. I was a bit unsure BUT..

The man turned his back on him, then when Stanley sat down turned back and gave him loads of treats and fuss. Then when Stanley got up and went to jump the man said "no no big fella" and Stanley sat back down and more treats and fuss. Then he kept his bum down.

The man said to me.. I've trained dogs for 40 years, it's all about patience and kindness. I thanked him so much. It's so nice meeting understanding, caring people. Has really left me feeling happy.

I left OH for an hour and a half with Moo to come back to what oh described as a terrible accident. Apparently Moo had got stuff all over the carpet. I thought oh well mud or poop or something but no, someone it's either moo or oh had trodden some kind of oil paste stuff all through the house. Seems to be human type foot prints though mmmmm. Whoever it was tried to clean it and made it worse. The quarry tiles are now fine but the living room carpet is ruinned and my beloved William Morris repro had oily stains. I think it will be ok because he didn't try to clean that though cos he didn't see the stains, so I've just treated it and it looks ok. The living room carpet I'd a gonner though. Its been through 3 pups 2 fosters 2 cats 1 incontinent adult various bleeding incidents and 2 old dogs being leaky and he totals it in an hour and a half:confused: he has got form for this kind of thing it's not the first time mysterious oily human footprints have ruinned carpets.

I bought some cones and soft toys to start practising for our next rally obedience level. One of the stations requires you to do a figure of eight around two cones (off lead) and they place toys either side of the cones that your dog must ignore :eek:

Anyway I just wanted to grab a couple of little toys (that Ella won't ever be able to play with) and somehow this one ended up in the basket! We're in all sorts of trouble if the lambies are working against us
