We are off on holiday tomorrow - to Lindisfarne Tatze is going to stay with her Best Friend in the Whole Wide World, Zaba - the weather forecast is brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! so we'll probably be spending a lot of time in castles etc so it wouldn't be fair on her as she'd have to stay behind. Mollie is coming, I love to take each pup on a nice holiday where they can run on beaches every day, making memories ...
The bluebells are just past their best, but we're still enjoying some good walks! They even managed to sit still together long enough to take a photo!
I have a sore head. I was bending down to stroke Squidge and Shadow jumped under me and onto the bed. Our heads made contact and I now have a lovely lump. He didn't even notice.
@snowbunny Luna is almost as big as Willow and Shadow now she's growing into a beautiful little lady but it makes me sad when they're not small anymore
I was enjoying a lovely walk in the woods with Alfie when a big greyhound game sprinting up to him (he was walking at heel) growling and looking very stiff (he was muzzled). Alfie was really uncomfortable about the situation (making himself very small and holding his tail between his legs) and I asked the owner if she could please call her dog back and she said she was trying. Her dog continued to growl and stand over Alfie! I managed to catch Alfie's collar and a kind passer by grabbed the greyhound's collar to move him away and the lady eventually strolled up and took her dog and said to me he only wants to play. I am no expert in doggy body language but sprinting up growling and a stiff position doesn't indicate play to me. She actually seemed affronted that I had asked her to call her dog away and tried to get Alfie out of the way. . Sorry to rant a little but I just needed to get it all out, it really spoilt our walk . I really don't want Alfie getting hurt.
Are B&Bs, holiday cottages and the like required by law to allow GDs? I know it's discretion when it comes to the pups, but was wondering if GD owners have to seek out doggy friendly accommodation, or if they can go anywhere.
