Strangely Moo seems to be developing slight symptoms of SLO on one back paw. I started treatment but am just so annoyed, I can understand why but poor Moo. She's Doug's half sister so I'd hoped she would escape it. It very mild not likes Doug's so hopefully the stuff ive given her will calm things down. Shes not loosing any nails but one has split and exposed the quick and another has rupture half way up. Good thing is she not licking furiously and shes walking ok. When i cut the nails they are crumbly and not a normal texture they feel like they are delaminating. I hoped I'd done with this vile disease but Cleary poor little black dog got something going on. Ive spoke to the vet and hes says bring her in if she getting bad but just to treat as normal at the moment. I will probably pop her down soon anyway. Shes happy and behaving normally so shes not in pain so ill just have to wait and see. Bu**er
It doesn't unfortunately it's just a management thing. She's not got it bad so its ok but it's just grrrrrrr
Hope it won't it tends to be better when it starts when they are older. Doug started when HE was 6 and it was terrible and she does not seem to be in agony like Doug. She's not lost any nails yet so it maybe ok. It's hopefully a mild reaction because i know what to look for it will be ok. I will sort it for her I'm upset that its happened but it will be get fine. I will not let it affect her quality of life
Oh poor girl, these dogs of ours are such a worry and of course we get upset. Bless you @SwampDonkey xx
She's been galloping round the field like an old horse she seems fine not sore so I hoping it will be fine. She's going to see Doug's vet tomorrow to check for infection
