Stanley is the only dog I've ever known that gobbles up tablets like sweets.

My childhood dog used to hate them. He'd know they were in his food and eat around them or refuse the treat it was hidden it - it was a nightmare. And I get countless stories from friends about trying to get their dogs to take tablets.

I don't even have to hide it - just hold my hand out with it in and he eats it straight away. He even gets excited when he sees the packet. Such a daft dog! Makes my life much easier though :D

Pongo LOVES his worm tablets and his flea tablets. He will do absolutely anything for them. Anything.

Had some nice walks today me and Mr fabulous went a wonderful early one and then went out with the black dog gang and the squeeker. Moo loved it she was with her other man Solomon and running a lot slower these days admittedly round the woods and fields. It was great and we all had a lovely time except the squeeker was in a mood. A tired 6 year is never good she was a beast. It was so hard not to laugh at her but I understand why friend likes a glass of wine in the evenings :D in the end after accusing Rory of bitting her trying to pull the head off Dougs sculpture and wacking Rory across the bum we all decided it was best if she went home. we didn't dare laugh and we all got a hug and kiss when she went even the vicious Rory. My poor friend poor squeeker.

I've got no way to up load sorry. The artist is called Christine Cummings. Her work is very expressive rather than figurative work. I like her sense of fun she's done a really sweet piece of work. For me. It's one of her dogs on a hill range . It makes me smile when i look at it like always did when I was with Doug I've got to the stage were I smile when I think of him.

I`m glad you can smile now , and can empathise . I`ve just begun to smile when I think of Millie , rather than the tears that always fell . When I worked as a bereavement counsellor for the Blue Cross , I often used to tell people that grief is like a wound ,it begins to heal and then we knock it and it opens right up again until at last, it forms a scar which is there as a gentle reminder . Take lots of comfort from memories , and your sculpture too x

Today , I am mainly clearing out my greenhouse , ready for tomato plants next week . Many spiders , and don't you just hate it when a bit of web gets stuck on your head ! Three young toads in there, now safe in the rockery , one frog , and two newts . I have had willing helpers !

Just looked up her work - it's utterly fabulous. Your sculpture of Doug must be very special.

OH just called...on our usual walking trail he has unexpectedly run into masses of kids on a field trip - Quinn is running amok off leash, shrieking kids riling her up more.

He rarely practices recall with her...and he has no treats or a ball with him...good luck to him!

Massive achievement today! I walked Ella on lead, while pushing the pram and managed to drink a coffee at the same time! It has taken months of work to reach this point! :D

Dog aside, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to coordinate that, and would fall flat on my face :D
