I saw an adorable little white Staffie today with a pink bandana...her face was so sweet. I would get a Staffie if we didn't have to worry about renting and being declined :( And if we didn't already have two dogs of course!

Too many health issues for me I'm afraid. They are lovely dogs though

I'm sitting in the lounge with a coffee and Holly had just trotted up to me and fallen asleep across my feet. She's so contented that I really don't want to move and disturb her.

You must not move. You have your laptop, so you can email the world to bring you anything you need - absolutely no excuse for disturbing a contented Labrador.

I agree. I always have to ask the OH to refill my wine glass when Ella falls asleep on me. I can't move her, she wants to cuddle her mummy!

My dilemma was solved when OH moved towards the kitchen. Holly was instantly awake and at her side.

Ever since bringing Axel home, we have had to replace many socks. Holes in most of them from him doing this :D:rolleyes:

No, but I have a devil of a job keeping track of my slippers.

Coco does this to OH, mainly before we leave for dog school. He is SO excited, he grabs each sock & runs off with it, then if he manages to get his socks on, Coco starts with his boots. In between grabbing things, he chases his tail. It's total chaos, getting ready for dog school.

Its my one fault. I trained her to fetch them when I come home. They are now her slippers that I am allowed to wear.

I started Nell on a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement last week , she came to us with very wasted muscle on her back end . Her rear quarters looked a bit fragile and she wasn't in great shape all round, but then living on rubbish and cat food wasn't doing her any good . I upped the protein via her food , the building block of a good body and then bought the powdered supplement , what a difference ! Yesterday she was like a pocket rocket , leaping around in the garden , trying to catch butterflies and fish in our pond . I guess you get out what you put in, but am so pleased x

Sweet Nell - you're making a huge difference to your little spark, Kate.

Oh yes, I have this problem now! In fact I'm typing this at an angle so as not to disturb him sleeping on my foot

I don't like dropping my tiny little puppy off at kennels and leaving him :(.
(Even though he can't wait to get in there ).
It's the only downside of holidays :(.
