Ok Yes he is!! Bless him 12 midnight, 2.30, 4.30 then ready to play and start the day at 5.45! He did have a wee outside each time he cried so needed to get up! Our neighbours banged on wall at 12... Feel terrible they were disturbed! We are taking turns on the sofa! Merlin is so adorable!! Gorgeous colour!! ❤️ Lets hope for a quieter (ish) night for us all tonight!! Xx
We have had Merlin for nine days now. Nights are getting better - I set my alarm for 2 am (setting it 15 minutes later each night) to go and wake him for a pee, so he doesn't get an ingrained habit of crying for us. He's starting to settle again after waking and having a little moan and grumble, instead of crying. He still wants to get up with the sun though... This morning after he had breakfast and a little game with Poppy I took them both back to bed with me... peace!!!!
We will have to try setting an alarm! Like you we don't want the habit of crying out and us going to him! It's hard to leave for bit and wait for quiet as obviously our neighbours heard him! Lovely your Poppy is having a play! My dog Lola is not impressed with him! He is very good seems to read her well and will back away when she gives a growl! Doze in bed sounds amazing
Give Lola time, Pops wasn't thrilled to begin with either, but now she loves him and gets very upset if he cries for any reason.
