As I walk my dog in Knighton Park on a daily basis this is rather shocking news.
Unfortunately, from what I'm being told, the local council and police say that there have been no reports of dogs being poisoned or poison related deaths from dog owners or veterinarians.
This seems to be impeding them from taking further action. Understandably, this must be a very distressing time for the owners of the dogs affected, but if someone knows them or the veterinarian who treated the dogs and could get any of them to contact the local council and/or police that might get the authorities to take it more seriously and help us prevent further injury or loss.

The local vets have just confirmed that the dog deaths do look like they are part of a larger pattern of dog poisoning in knighton park. They have looked back in their records and it now looks like someone or something is poisoning dogs. So upset.

If there is a history of poisoning at Knighton then the authorities need to know about it. If you are in contact with these vets, it would be good if they could contact the authorities asap.

Really upsetting for every one who walks there - and also for the whole dog community.

I find it hard to believe that some could do something like this but it is beginning to look sinister. I keep forgetting they walk among us the look human but are not.

I don't understand these people at all. It's so premeditated, which makes it seem worse even than someone doing something terrible opportunistically. I hope the bastards are found and held to account.

I'm reading this thread for the first time - am in shock: pins, razors, poison. I can't imagine people doing this to dogs in a public area. I'm not immune to cruelty sadly, it's in the news all too often. But to bait dogs in a park - sickening, and so frightening to all who walk there.
