I feel for you! Nothing worse than being stuck in hospital and in pain. Really hope you're feeling more comfortable and able to go home soon. xxx

@DebzC , I can only begin to imagine how bad you feel right now, but I guess now the op is down and Libby is sorted (what lovely friends) it only remains to grit your teeth and get better.

Terrible for you, hope you're not in too much pain. I'm thinking this is more common than I'd realize. About an hour after I read this thread the first time my wife called me to tell me that Duggan had done the exact same thing to her. He made contact at the knees and took her and the baby out on their morning yard patrol. She didn't end up with anything broken but she fell on the baby and luckily nothing bad happened. She's still sore but no breaks. Heal fast.

Thank you! I'm now on the waiting list for rehab at our local community hospital... basically, I've no need for acute medical care but I'm not ok to go home. I'll be here until a bed is available, I'll not be home for a few weeks they said! B*ggeration.

Glad the op is done, but really feel for you being stuck in hospital :( Only benefit is that you have lots of time to read everything on the forum!

Weeks! Oh my goodness. Thought you would be home a few days post op. Do you have any sedentary hobbies? Can I send you my started-two-years ago choc lab cross stitch? ;)

Oh no, that sounds terrible. I hope the community hospital is near your home. I suppose it might be better than crate rest...!
