Thanks! When I started with our first puppy it was just a weekly weigh-in to update my blog, then we got Riddick and I was curious to see which pup was bigger... It spiraled from there!
My vet told me mine would be 100 lbs by one year. And that's based on his body type.....it's all relative as far as I can tell. From what I've learned anyway.
His father was 80 lbs, so was basing it on that. He has grown taller in the last couple of weeks, but his ribs are not easily felt.
Well I haven't posted on this page in awhile. Mainly because once Axel got neutered he lost 1kg right then and there So I never had an update. But just got back from the vet to get him some high fiber food (he ate my bra) and they wanted an updated weight on him incase he gets an obstruction. So at 18 months he is now 43kg.
It is really good to see all the pups on a graph, really emphasises that there is no "right" weight for a Labrador. @camo was doing some wonderful charts of all our pups, but photobucket seems to have blocked them all now. If @camo would like to send them to me I'll happily pop them on dropbox and reload them... message me if you'd like to do that, camo!
Finn will be 10 months on August 6, and at the vet the other day he was around 48 lbs / 21.8 kgs. STILL A PIPSQUEAK (but I don't care)
