Probiotics seem to sort Finn out. No rhyme or reason, sometimes it is absolutely vile, but a couple of days on this stuff seems to settle his stomach. Still darts, but not so bad!
Hehe this thread is hilarious Ella does the occasional fart as she jumps up onto the couch. It just pops out, doesn't smell and she looks around the room as if she's seeing if anyone noticed. It's the silent ones, after she's eaten something she shouldn't have, that could clear a room
My vet attributed Snowie's hellishly stinky poo when he had HGE to the bad bacteria in his gut - said he had an imbalance of good-bad bacteria from eating human poo. He recommended a half cup of kefir daily to add good bacteria. Snowie is very happy with this addition! And thankfully he's been mostly fine for the last few weeks.
Axel used to stink so bad as a puppy. Now he will let out a fart when he stretches and then jumps around to figure out what that noise is. But they don't stink at all
Well this windy weather in the UK is bringing the apples down - Cass carefully chose one on our way back from getting our veg, carried home with a "don't talk to me I'm busy" look on her face, and has happily munched it. I think it might be quite a farty night in this house.
Freddie is 12 weeks and has been letting off SBDs (silent but deadly) since we got him at 9 weeks old. It was so bad my OH was threatening him with a shed to sleep in (the farm collie and terrier are both outdoor dogs but Freddie is mine and is indoors!!!) I have just taken him off kibble and gone raw and ta da no more farts. Realise it's not the easiest option but think the high carb content of the kibble was somehow gassing him up.
Homer farts ... But Hubby's farts are foul, stinky, hold your nose, open the window and leave the room foul!
