How did that happen? Willow and Shadow turn three today! These dogs are my joy, my heart, my everything. I suppose a bit is left for my husband, but, well, you lot know how it is I'm a bit sad because we're not together as a family today. I'm in Andorra with Shadow, here to drop him off with friends who will look after him while we're at my sister's wedding, in case Luna comes into season while we're away. Willow and Luna are back in Spain with J - a friend will be looking after them there while we're gone. So, there's not much happening in the way of birthday celebrations, and Shadow is a bit out of sorts with the disruption, but he'll perk up when he sees who he is staying with - he ADORES his Aunty Bethol (the feeling is mutual) and he gets to spend two weeks with his other sister, Annie. So, happy actual birthday to these two darling dogs, who I helped bring into the world three years ago today, and who have taught me so much since then. I promise we'll have a belated birthday with CAKE and presents when we get back together.
Aww, happy 3rd birthday to 2 lovely jet-setting labs. May they have much fun and joy when they are together again.

I actually had a conversation with Shadow in bed last night, about what sort of cake he would like. He settled on liver and mince.
