What was your puppy like at 4 months?

Aspen will be 4 months in a week and I am noticing him developing into his personality. He has started to bite less, is more interested in playing with his toys on his own, has fairly good recall, and is starting to eat with more focus. (no more picking up a kibble and eating it somewhere else) He is also starting to lose teeth. They grow up so fast :(

Oh geez, I must admit that I loved Harley very much at this age, but I didn't really like her that much. She was still an absolute crocopup. I am so excited for you, because if you are enjoying Aspen this much already you are going to be having so much more fun with you interactions as he grows. I have absolutely loved Harley in the more adolescent phase (maybe without the selective hearing) but she is really her own individual now.

Hmm, hard to remember! I kept a log of Quinn's weight and antics along with pictures. At 4 months she was heading into her swallowing foreign object phase and was big into taking any shoes left around. The only shoes she actually chewed up were OH's favourite flip flops though! She also chewed off the door stoppers in every room around this age. We still have them removed haha. She started walking on leash better and the first signs of pulling started. She was chewing a ton and losing teeth, so I remember constantly trying to find things to occupy her in the evening...frozen cloths, chews etc. She was so cute and boy does it go by fast!

Oh my word, how could I forget the teething. Shame, poor Harls. It wasn't a fun time with new teeth arriving. But frozen Kongs are great.

She's doing pretty good. She's only recently been allow on the ground (outside my yard, as her vaccinations have now been completed) and also now at my parents, so that's opened up things for her and me. I took her to the beach for the first time on the ground, a couple of says ago. She went in the water some also.

She's doing pretty good with me in regard to biting, but not so good with my sister (she's started spending time there at my parents, where my sister is mostly while I'm at work). By the way do you work, and if so what do you do with your boy? Pearl also has more recently started pulling clothes...i try to ignore it but it's hard.

I think it was your posts I remember reading when I was feeling stress as well during those several hard weeks... :) Man what a time that was...

Cool, was your boy born two days after or two days before?

Well that's good to hear :) I work, but I only work about 5 hours a day. Aspen is crated during that time and is home alone. He is really good with it, no accidents. And I am glad that we could relate on my posts, it's nice to know that you aren't alone in your feelings. Pearl is 2 days older than Aspen!
