Thanks for the nice compliment, but sadly it's really been dead for years. But if you want to see old stuff about Brogan and my California foster dogs, go for it!
JES are my initials. Our initials get used for everything at work including our work emai. I get my middle initial included as my maiden name initials were the same as the Principal, there were some awkward moments when emails got sent straight to her and not to me. Then I got married and changed my surname and the last initial. I quite like being called Jes, prefer it to my real name. 72 gives my age away.
I've been a Ski Patroller for 44 years so it seemed appropriate. I'm an engineer in my day job, but patrolling is a more fun.
Mine is simply because I was in a hurry when joining the forum and hadn't given it any thought but have been thinking of changing it. Need to change Spence's picture too, I have much better ones!
Mine is just a shorter version of my name (Ternaya) and most of my friends call me Naya so just chose it as didn't know what to put.
Mine was just my name. No thought process related, plus I don't really to forums, facebooks etc. Thinking about it, this is actually the only forum I am a member off...I have a thought/rule that I won't say just in case I offend anyone (and I can't do that as I need the help on here) and don't want to get banished.
Boogie was my first dog after leaving home, we'd had Skipper and Jamie before that. I got him from Battersea dogs home - he was six months old and a black and tan Manchester terrier/border collie/heinz57 cross. I still clearly remember going to choose him. I was 18 and at university, he came to all my lectures and home on the train with me every holiday. My parents adored him. I got married at 22 and had my two baby boys - he was wonderful with them. He lived to a happy, healthy 19 years old - just a month off 20!
I came to the forum in a state of complete despair, tearing my hair out and frankly on the edge having not long rescued Charlie Hence my forum name is Charlie, so I'm boring too xx
I am Jelinga on other forums, my three deceased dogs' names Jake Elli and Inga. When I came on here, couldn't think of a name so chose my third Christian name, I will not tell you what my second one is
