Parents with obese children are often brought to the attention of social work and put on the "at risk" register where I am. Would the RSPCA be interested? Overfeeding is as dangerous as underfeeding.

(Oops sorry Sven just saw you said the same thing)

At the opposite end of the scale......I was in London at the weekend walking across Hampstead Heath, saw a group of teens jogging (good on 'em, fit young people, hoorah) BUT one had this little terrier on a lead that was really struggling to keep up, it was pretty much being dragged along by the collar. All the kids were oblivious. Poor little mutt, I thought, but I didn't have the gumption to go say anything.

On our park on one of the really hot days a young lad was flying round the park with a terrier on a lead. He was stopped. Various dog walkers explained how dangerous this was too him. to his credit hes not done it again. You do see this kind of thing a lot.

I am the walking wounded today. We had friends stay yesterday, got horribly drunk and then took the dogs out. Decided to walk the gas pipeline, which is very up and down with loose shingle. I fell at least three times and am cut to shreds. Oops!:oops:

We had dinner at a friend's place tonight. Usually we'd take Ella too as her friend Oscar (yellow lab) lives there but the weather is awful and we didn't want them playing in the house with four kids under five (I know, right o_O:eek:) running around. When we got home, Ella sniffed our legs and looked at us like she'd just caught us cheating on her. I gave her a little extra dinner to make up for it....

Do they not have a TV?

I'm fine, honestly. It's all just superficial. Mostly very tired from Luna being up all night with the squits o_O

Just been to Aldi.. 2 kong like toys for £4.49.

They're a bit smaller but still seem quite good!

All stock up before they go :D

Went to bed last night, everybody else was already in bed. Triped over Vanillas toy, fell forward towards the bed, stopping myself not to fall onto Vanilla. In doing so woke her up and her head met my lip = equals cut and beuised lip. Plenty of fluid came out. This morning nice swollen lip.
    Lesson learned move toy.

My dogs have been delightful today. I've had a terrible painfilled day and they've done everything to make me smile just so sweet and Moos been on top form and just adorable and Rory has just been cuddly all day. Their behaviour is amazing I love spending my time with them. They are far from perfect and not really well trained but they make me smile.after a really hard day I have the warm feeling that I get when I'm with them.it helps get me through. They almost seem to have anaesthetic qualities

OK nothing to do with dogs at all. Christmas displays and shopping items are appearing in the shops. No no and no way to early...
