Yes, I have seen some Christmas cards in the shops far too early.

Annie (W&S's litter mate) came to stay last night. Chaos. Complete and utter chaos.

One of the best things about having a dog..

Having a hangover buddy who's happy to provide endless amounts of cuddles and licks without any judgemental "you shouldn't drink so much then" comments.

Cuddles on the couch all day for me and my little man :inlove:

Oh enjoy the cuddles. I've never had a decent hangover buddy - they've all been "let's go out for a walk NOW, Come on let's go! We can't wait around here!" Coco would bark with it - don't think I've had a hangover since we've had him...A good, breezy walk helps shift it too, I suppose.

Am I safe to say "I'll get another puppy when you do"? :D

I got my signed book from Pippa (for a top 3 place in the photo competition). The book is titled "choosing the perfect puppy". I nearly had to call the OH an ambulance after he saw me reading it :D

    Loving the book though :)

To be fair, if you explain to him that it gives you as many reasons NOT to get a puppy as to get one, he may feel better :chuckle:

Took Coco on the train & the guard was fawning over him, as I paid the 60 pence return fare for a dog. The guard had not long lost his beloved Lab, but had just gained a 7 week old Choccy Lab - a relative of his old friend. He was telling me how this tiny pup was excelling at retrieving already - well he toddled up the hall after the titchy ball and brought it back....not ready to give it up yet.

Something smelly has been running around our fields overnight, probably bunnies or deer. Willow and Shadow were zipping around with their noses firmly on the ground during our morning walk. Good attention when being given tasks, but, when released, they were things possessed. They roamed a little too far, about 50m, with their noses stuck to the gloriously scenty earth. I blew my stop, they immediately turned and sat. Yay!!! I've been working on and off with the stop whistle while hunting, but not at anything like this distance or level of distraction. I so wish I'd had my GoPro on me. Love my hounds
