I saw a flock of ravens fly over my house. There was 7 of them and they made that lovely raven bonk cry as they flew by.that might not be an unusual thing for some of you but I live in the middle of a city and it made a crappy day a little bit magical :sun:

Birds in flight are wonderful , so pleased this lifted your spirits x We get huge flocks of Canada geese flying to the moors, right over us, what a row they make too ! They go to graze and then head back to their coastal home late afternoon . Sorry you`re having a rubbish day x

I have a (or some) near me, though I live in the countryside and I love the 'Cronk' cry. I don't like him in the spring though when he wakes me at some ungodly hour banging on my windows thinking the reflection is another raven! It must have been exciting for you to have seen the flock this morning..

These things make all the difference to a crappy day, for those of us lucky enough to know these things when we see and hear them.
Ravens, a true sound of the wild.

Have to say I find them quite disconcerting at times...
