Nothing like a STRONG cup of Twinings tea with a tiny splash of milk and one sugar If I were on a stranded on a desert island forget Johnny Depp or even Nando Brown well maybe not Nando Brown or any other hottie I would just want a catering box of tea bags! xx
I appreciate you daring to go beyond the realm of tea, however I'm one of the apparently rare creatures who finds even the smell of coffee to be nauseating. Honestly, to me it's the equivalent of sticking my head in a baby nappy pail. Granted, I've never actually TASTED coffee, but it's gotta kind of taste like it smells, right? I tried the tea again today and about 5 seconds of tea bag in water still yields sludge, but more drinkable sludge. I think I'll break down and hit Aldi this weekend, even if it brings the danger of succumbing to all of those delicious UK ready meals. Honestly, this country is food paradise for those who cannot cook. How I am I supposed to go back to Germany after this? And it's the Gang Show with Kate @Beanwood tomorrow, so there's hope that in the near future I may actually have something dog-related to post instead of talking about my attempts at caffeination!
I think Muriel Donnelly (Maggie Smith) from 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' explains perfectly how to make the best cyp of tea. That is my contribution to this..
So to bring the conversation back to all things Labrapup, Emily, do you have any firm appointments with any breeders that we can all put in our diaries? (sipping coffee...black, no sugar)
Don't worry, remember once you get a puppy you won't have time to drink tea anyway. I didn't finish a cup of tea for 6 months after we got our crocopig. Managed a few therapeutic glasses of wine though to stave off the nervous breakdown.
Remember Emily, we are living our lives through you, you have responsibilities. Jac, supping Clipper Organic Everyday tea, made in a pot, with soft Scottish water, milk and 2 sweeteners following lunch out with Lilly then a walk on the beach.......
Also not a coffee fan, I believe it actually smells better than it tastes...but Rooibos tea is just yum yum. There has to be some puppy plans plotted at least...
lol! Because I'm SO fussy about how short my tea is brewed for I drink Rooibos at work, but some people hate it - the girl making teas the other day mixed mine up with another lady's - she has strong tea with LOTS of milk and sugar. She sipped it and "bleugh!! Is this your Red Bush?" I had a sip and I honestly couldn't taste anything but sweet milk - but I tasted mine - it was regular tea - too strong for me.
hehehe! I expect Emily might just be home now, and a wee bit tired. Lots of culture to absorb at a Gang show, as well as take 3 million photos of dogs....
