@Beanwood Kate I'd give your pups a headcount just to make sure you have all 3 :D

    :cwl: I hadn't seen that before @Beanwood

And thank you SO SO much for what will forever be firmly in my head as a Gang Show

QUOTE="SwampDonkey, post: 321086, member: 2421"]I'm very bored with this tea and Tesco tour.[/QUOTE]

Again, may I say...it's a tough audience here on the Forum! And I personally find Tesco very exciting. You try living off of bratwurst and sauerkraut for a few months - I bet you'd be excited about Tesco ready meals as well. :p

No. Remember, @SwampDonkey is going to find a litter for both of us, so now I'm just enjoying UK cultural events like the Gang Show and meet ups with Forum celebrities such as Benson's Tail (and occasionally the rest of him), Casper & Bramble, Sam & Nell, and the Great and Mysterious Pongo. And hopefully more to be arranged soon. :)

    Nope. See above. :D

Plus, Kate's OH half has now dubbed me a "Labratraitor" because I fawned over non-Labradors at the Gang Show (see "water spaniel" below). So I think I may have lost my Labratour credentials. Maybe our tour marketing director, @snowbunny , can come up for a more appropriate name for what this adventure is morphing into? The "Emily-Swans-Around-the-UK-Having-Fun-Gushing-Over-Random-Dogs-and-Meeting-Nice-Forum-People-and-their-Famous-Dogs Tour"?

Exactly! On a less tongue-in-cheek note, a huge thank you to Kate, her patient OH and lovely and extremely well-behaved Bramble for such a great day out. There were tons of dogs to see and we had beautiful weather. It was all very new to me and something I would have never even known about without Kate's invite.

For anyone in the UK who hasn't been to a "Gang Show", what are you waiting for? Dogs PLUS wayward hawks, boneless ferrets, anglers casting on to grass while standing next to a river, shopping for the world's largest selection of tweed gilts (as long as you really like dark green khaki), majestic stallions prancing and horse boarding!

Yeah, but then I'd have to decide which one of the three is my favourite and THAT'S impossible. Now, if she comes up with all three missing, she definitely knows who the culprits is!

Thanks for posting such great photos and so fast, too. I came home and crashed last night, no photo downloading for me!

I did get a billion photos yesterday, so will try to find the best of and get them up later today. I'm having another work catch up day, so it's "pay the bills" first, then fun with photos later! :)

    To be continued...:tail:

I'm not the only one who thought Emily & Kate had gone to watch a troupe of Scouts in comedy, singing & dancing ?

Oops. That was meant to be "gilets" (dumb auto-correct). Unless "gilts" is a combo of a gilet and a kilt. That could be interesting. o_O

Oh yes, I had boys scouts show in mind too! I did wonder why @Emily_BabbelHund would be interested in such a thing.

That's sounds like a perfectly reasonable approach to me. It's the gentle art of delegation in action.

Sorry, didn't mean miss the photos today or ignore @SwampDonkey's question . Got a bad case of food poisoning this afternoon. :puke:

Will be back at it tomorrow.
