They were on leads and the man cud hardly hold them cos they were trying to get to me and Nell so Mummy picked Nell up . She cudnt pick me up but I stayed close cos I was scared of the big growly dogs, Mummy says we wont be going there again, phew, Sam xx

Mummy says I'm no longer on di-et.

Now mummy is on di-et. She's trying to make me go for a run with her this morning.

Daddy says I don't have to go.

I don't want to go. I sleeps on a morning. I don't even like walks, I specially don't like runs. Naps for Stanley, runs for fat mummy.

I didn't get a proper walk today :( Mum said she had to go somewhere n we didn't have time. BUT, we did go to the little field and played Chuckit- more than I'm usually allowed (and consequently "find it" - I lost the ball once). The grass was so wet it was a bit like swimmy fetch, but not in the sea..so really, while I tried to sulk, it was quite good.

We found a really posh dog collar on the park so ging rang the doggies and they sent their monkey to get It. Apparently and norty puppy is the culprit. He pulls it off the big dog.
then we found a puppy he was very upset ging asked him were his mummy was and he cried. I licked his nose then we found his mum and everything was fine:) I found my ball loads too it was a fun walk. Moo snored her head off on the posh cumfy chair and was a bit huffy ging wouldn't let her bark at the fence. Moos silly barking at a fence I mean I bark at the lion next door but it is concrete and has scary eyes

We went for a very late walk last night, well it was to the Oval and was past my bed time. Anyhow it was fun with Daddy, and I found a nice sosaferoll. It tasted really good. Daddy just said you will be sorry later. Well I don't know why maybe it had to do with him hidding and I had to find him. I sniffed the ground then the air for ages and the finally found him. He really needs to stay close to me, don't know how many times I have to find him and tell him.

Rory you should have kept the posh collar. Apperantky I am getting a new one once the mail man delivers it. What is wrong with the one I have got....

It was too small for me and not stylish enough. I've got lots of collars because I always get them wet I'm wet all the time. Most people I meet have never seen me dry. I am a wet look Labrador. Ging hides and runs off too monkeys are silly like that it's a good job we're around to keep them safe.

Ah that is why I am getting a new collar too, I love waterwaterandmorewater.
This one is apperantly for when I am just walking. But when I am out with Daddy most time it involves water, so not sure how mummy thinks this is going to work. Think Daddy might be in trouble a lot :p

Life without a ball is frustrating. Now I am forced to play with the other dogs, which is not nearly as great as ball retrieving, stomping on balls, throwing balls to humans, throwing a ball up in the air and catching it...you get my point. Today I chased my labradoodle friend around with all my pent up feelings about no ball and couldn't keep up, so I grabbed his tail a few times. Mum said I was being a bit rough...well, wouldn't you be rough if you were annoyed by life? My dog walker called mum and said I was acting sad and thought it was because I had a doggy friend at my house for 4 days...she said nope, she is missing her ball. True.

Hoping this ball ban ends soon,

    Quinn

Dad and I had a nice walk at the beacon today. There arent many blackberries left but the muddy zoomies are starting to fill with water. He was talking to a nice lady when i showed her how good I was at zoomies. I think she liked being splashed because she got very excited.

After lunch mum and dad took me to herefudwiththenicesmellycheeseshop. I helped dad to choose some dog walking boots, then sat outside shops with dad while mum went clothesshopping. Lots of people came up and said how beautiful I am and fussed me.

The bum lady chopped off my leg yesterday or I think she did anyway as it's all wrapped up in a purple sockie. I'll have a nibble if it later when mum and dad aren't looking.

It was that thing where you go inside the roped area and walk around doing silly things with your hooman. They did put some toys in there for me to play with though. I went straight to them for a good sniff. Mum wasn't happy. I went with her for a bit but then I saw another toy and went to sniff that (as you do) and mum called out "may we please withdraw". Then we left. Mum said it's a good job I'm a good pet. Whatever that means..
