Congratulations! Do you have any pics?
They are lovable little bundles of fun that will sometimes drive you mad but will enrich your life incredibly.

Hi Kimmie - Monty is lovely! So cute! I am in the same position as you at the minute - Getting my first pup in just under 3 weeks! I've grown up with dogs but never brought one up myself (it was always my parents) so I feel a bit out of my depth too! One thing I've done to prepare is I have already registered at my local vets and booked in for Leo's (that's what we've decided to call him) health check a couple of days after he's settled in to our home. I've always bought a few 'chewy' toys as labs are known for being a bit 'bitey' as pups! Other than that, I think the whole process will be a 'learn as you go' one. I'd also start looking into puppy training classes for when Monty as had all his vacs. :)

I have 2 small dogs already so he will go to same vet as them. He is going to be enrolled in pets smart puppy classes . I live in Canada. I have a jack Russell min pin so I think I am used to crazy lol am not sure. Am excited though will be a journey . I have a kennel for every stage of his growth and crate training will be a must with me. Hoping he takes to night time but booked off work for a week just in case.

Labs are great dogs when they settle down. OH and I can't imagine life without a Lab in the house - they have a wonderful sense of fun, love being part of your life, and are great companions.

Sounds like you are very organised and shouldn’t worry! Good idea about the week off- I’ve done exactly the same!
