    This.
I am going to save this message thread so I can look at it in future when it is Pongo's time. I hope I can help him through it in the same gentle, positive way that you and Moo are getting on with it! Moo is, of course, Pongo's hero. But in some ways, @SwampDonkey , you are mine.... Thanks for this thread.

Thanks for your kind words its hard letting go and slowly I am. everyone is so kind and just airing these thoughts out loud helps. So thanks everyone for being so understanding. Sadly we will all probably be in this place at some point, but I Don't intend to miss the good bits with her now by thinking about her future. She's had a great day a nice tea and is having a snooze

Well she's had the full MOT we've stuck with the incurin but we may have to up the dose and got some previcox to help with the stiff achy joints and lower back pain. Teeth ok lipomas ok weight good so off we go. The little b***er managed to get 2 gravy bones from John by being cute. she was so well behaved as usual she's such an amazing little thing. So we'll see how the drugs work now hopefully it will help. :) I feel like I've done right by her

I found Previcox quite miraculous for my Lab, he became such a happy dog, BUT the vets think it gave him an inflamed oesophagus as he was being sick all the time just before he had to be put to sleep, however, I think I disagree! Even if it did, it gave him some pain free happy times and was worth it.

Yep it's thst time of year again. The physio I used for Doug hated this time of year. Dogs he'd kept pretty much pain free and mobile would deteriorate again. The autumn and winter are not kind for old dogs
