Sat her with three labs on my lap...Benson across my legs, Casper to the side and Bramble next to Casper, tears streaming down my face. Just had to explain to all three that I am happy, and told them what a lovely life Sadie had and what a lucky dog she was! Blimey, what a way to start Wednesday @Tammy Cooke, thank you so much for sharing

Sorry if I've upset you Beanwood, had to share, been holding it in for sometime now. It took me ages to write it as I couldn't stop crying. What kind of brings some peace to us is knowing she had a wonderful life, lived life to the full and then some. I miss her every hour of every day but I now know she's pain free and at peace x

@Tammy Cooke just read your post about Sadie and am sitting here with tears in my eyes. Making the decision when it is time must be the hardest thing ever. Sadie was indeed a lucky dog.

@Tammy Cooke I was in your place last year when we lost our darling Millie , so I 100% understand your pain . I truly believe it helps to share , whether it is laughter or tears . We all love our dogs on here , so I`m sure you will find much empathy and support .

Ah Tammy I've been there, it is so painful, but time will help you to know that you did the right thing for your dear girl.

@Tammy Cooke Sadie was a very lucky girl to have such a caring and loving owner to hold her tight as she fell asleep. I am so sorry for you and I am thinking of you  Sleep tight lovely Sadie xxx

@Tammy Cooke just read your post on the train to work, sunnies are now on as eyes are all watery (plus I blame the hayfever). I have never been there so can't comment. All I know is that I would want to be there and in one of her favourite places.
Sadie was a very lucky girl and sounds like she was always full off beans. Sorry for your loss and big hugs.

@Tammy Cooke thank you so much for posting this for Sadie. This is the toughest thing we ever have to do for our dogs and the kindest. My tears are flowing for you, for Sadie and for my Belle & Scooby. RIP old friends.
