Then he’s very stately. Snowie weighs 33/34kg, and to me he’s quite small. He has a big head, but quite a narrow chest compared to that magnificent gladiator.

    Yay!!!!!!

Honestly though, after looking at the photos of the adult dogs I almost want to go on the waiting list myself! They are stunning looking dogs.

I think part of that is the photo because he's sitting. He's not really massive, just a nice solid dog. Certainly for what I'm used to, he's on the small side...but that's ok as maybe one of his pups will have more space under plane/train seat than Brogan did. :)

This isn't a great photo, but you can see his body type more:

These pics all definitely make Stanley look teeny tiny. He's definitely a mini lab :D

Labradors shouldn’t be too broad chested. It’s one of those things mentioned in the breed standard that can be overdone by breeders.

Glad you’ve had some puppy action, Emily! And being on a waiting list is fantastic!

Just catching up. I go away for a few hours and you post some pictures. Devon - wow! What a head-turner.

Swoon - Devon looks really hunky. 32 kg is only 1-1.5 heavier than Coco, who is a skinny whippet of a dog. Funny how different they all look.

He doesn't look worried to me. Looks wise and contemplative, which is a good thing in a Labrador expression I think. He looks calm. I like his type in that side on photo - solid but not heavy and he looks like he can move.

Things are getting very exciting! You've excelled!

But an adorable mini Lab - I love his eyes!

I'm just guessing on the weight as he seemed about the same size (albeit with shorter legs) than Brogan. So maybe I'm giving him a bit of a weight boost. :D

Mmm...good perspective. Like I said, I was actually a bit surprised when I got home and looked at the photos, as he didn't strike me as worried in person. All her dogs seemed quite happy and relaxed - if some (like Wilson) more bouncy!

Thank you but mmmm...no, actually @snowbunny has excelled and is a "doggie researcher extraordinaire". I just followed her recommendation. Though maybe I excel at persistence - I've been contacting this breeder since July. :)
