I posted about the new lump/nodule I had found , our Vet agreeing that it would be futile and unfair to Sam to remove it as it would not alter the fact that he has Lymphoma . Well , he has another one, close to the site of the one I recently found , but also over the past few days , we have noticed him stumbling slightly , like you do when you miss a step ? This morning , he is walking like an elderly dog , I had to lift him in and out of the car and watched as he walked , not a limp as such but I can tell that both front legs are hurting him . Although there is little information on Epitheliotropic T cell Lymphoma , I have managed to read a long paper on it, sent by a kind Vet friend , and it seems that whilst it is indolent , when it does accelerate it can do so rapidly , so understandably we are worried sick as I also know that it can affect bones . So , a chat with the Vet again tomorrow , although what they can do is questionable , apart from pain killers, which isn't a real solution . Our lad is a fighter , he has had blips before and come back again , so we can only hope that he can do this once more xx

So sorry to read this, my heart was in my mouth when I saw the subject line of your post. So heartbreaking for you to watch him stumble, to have to help him in and out of the car. He is just so lucky to have you watching out for him. I am sending him lots of love and strength, and to you, too xxx

Oh Kate, I'm so sorry to hear that Sam's having such a hard time at the moment. The painkillers may be worth considering if it makes him more comfortable. Thinking of you, and sending love and hugs to you all xx

Oh Kate, my heart lurched and fell into my boots and I feel wobbly in my stomach when I read your post. I do hope the vet might be optimistic tomorrow, is there really no benefit of removing these lumps, even if there was no alteration to the lymphoma but it might make Sam feel more comfortable? Healing thoughts sent to Sam and calming thoughts sent for you and drop the tabs and have a drink tonight x

The nodules themselves are very small @Stacia , but they are just the tip of the iceberg , so to speak . Surgery would be extremely invasive , and I`m also advised that, at this stage of Sams illness , they would almost definitely pop up again in the same place , as removing cancerous cells from his body is not possible, but thank you for your thoughts x
