    Hi guys!

    Does anyone have any ideas..

Our little pal Basil is poorly. He hasn't eaten anything for 5 days. His owner has tried to feed him everything he can think of but to no avail.

He's been in the vets on a drip for 2 days. His bloods and X-rays are clear. The vets think he's a mystery.

Hopefully he'll perk up soon, but if anyone has any idea of what might help it would be greatly appreciated :)

And a pic of Basil just cos he's the best

Oh, poor little guy. Maybe the time on the drip to let his tummy rest will do the trick. Hopefully you'll have some good news today?

Thanks everyone. His owner is understandably worried sick.

He's allowed home tonight but has to go back tomorrow if he still hasn't eaten.

    Poor little love :(

So sorry to read this. I hope he feels better soon. Maybe a broken tooth or a mouth sore? Will he lick something like honey or yoghurt or gravy?

Has he been given worming or flea medication, that might not have agreed with him?

    It's not good :(

Matty was bringing him home and he started screeching and acting funny so he took him back and they thought he was going to die.

They've stabilised him now and he's in the vets overnight. They think he had a reaction to the medicine they gave him. Doing some further tests tonight.

    Poor Basil :(

    How dreadful for his family.

Sounds like he’s in serious pain. I wonder if a trial dose of painkillers might be worth a go....?

I'd even be happy for him to do a wee on my couch like he normally does as long as he was better
