Hi guys, just checking we're on the right lines or if anything if making a rod for our own back!!
Larry's wakes up between 5-5:30 (bit earlier than we want but hope this will get better!). He is a bit hyper when he gets out of his crate and wants his breakfast but I make him go outside for a wee first. He gulps his breakfast down while I rapidly get dressed and then he's desperate to go out for a poo. We go on a walk for 15-20 mins then get home to play until I go to work at 7:30.
A dog sitter comes to my house from 10-1 to play and proved lunch and puts him back in his crate until we're home from school/work around 3:30. He has tea about 5:30 before his evening walk around 8:30 and then to bed between 10-10:30.
He makes a bit of a racket early morning which I want to stop before he wakes the boys....... Do I need to give him super so he's not so hungry or will this make him want to poo during the night!?!?

Hi Andie, how old is Larry? I would set my alarm for about 4.30am, get up, take him for a wee then pop him back in bed for a while. This will help stop him barking to get you as it may be that he needs the toilet. The rest of your routine sounds pretty good. I've always given my girl, Harley, a few small biscuits before bed as I found she was waking up starving and it has helped.

Are you doing any training sessions with him? Training is an ideal way to tire furry minds.
