Due to Dougs auto immune problems at the end of his life he was more fatty lump than dog. Just learn we're they are what they feel like and sort of get a map of the dogs body. I only had them removed when they interfered with movement and eventually we just stopped there was too many. They can hide and they are squishy and move just get used to the feel that loose lack of connection to the main dogs body they almost roll in your hand. I know it's hard to have them and scary too but they are unfortunately a fact of life with this type if dog . Moo has a few all recorded on my dogs body lump sheetI'm a practical person and in the end I've come to see them as part if a dogs aging process. I get them looked at and then move on as they aren't really that significant . Just be aware of them and get them checked.if you have 2 there more than likely be more so be prepared.. it is shocking at first but they become more of a irritation in the end. I sorry it's so tough for you at the moment and hope this other lump proves to be harmless too
It does feel as you describe @SwampDonkey. I think I just can't stand or want to think of Hattie getting old because to me, her energy levels just everything she is still so young. I will make an appointment with the vet just to be on the safeside. Thank you. xxx

I hope you get an appointment tomorrow and are reassured. My son’s springer was covered in fatty lumps as she got older, but they didn’t stop her enjoying her walks and continuing her scavenging habits when she thought nobody was looking!
Great advice - this is what I did with Brogan, too. What @SwampDonkey calls that "loose connection" is what my vet also told me to look for if I noticed a new one. But I still understand your concern, Helen, and hope all goes well for you and Hattie at the vet's. Once you get it checked you'll feel better.
I managed to get a vet appointment this morning for Hattie. The lump is as I thought different to the one on her rib cage which is soft. The lump on her leg is harder so the vet thought it wise to do a needle aspiration. When she smeered it on the slide it was greasy but had blood in it which I don't think is good. Hopefully I will get the results this afternoon. The worry is soul destroying xxx
