So Stanley was sick twice on Friday night. OH had walked him and said he had eaten something.. but he wasn't sure what.

I stayed on the couch with him, there was no more sick. He had chicken and rice on Saturday - all was fine. Pooping/eating/drinking have all been normal since.

This morning I came down and he had been sick - there was a prong of a plug in it!

This dog man! I hope that's all there was in there, but I'm going to be inspecting everything looking for more remanents of a plug now. Lovely o_O

    Oh my word!

We are also on poo inspection duty, Tatze has eaten the tail of a toy

She usually keeps eaten things in her tum and throws them up when she gets to Zaba’s house!

He causes so much worry it's ridiculous!

I'm toying with taking him to the vets or just keeping an eye on him. He still seems 100% normal so I'm leaning on just watching for a little bit more.

    Little devil!

No, Stanley! I hope that’s all he ate. I wouldn’t like to think how much time we all spend examining sick and poo!

Tuppence chewed up a plastic container recently (it had contained Kongs filled with sardines and banana and I must have left it too near the edge of the worktop). I picked up all the pieces when I got home and hoped all was well and that she’d just chewed it, as she was bouncing around as right as rain. Next morning, though, she had been a little bit sick during the night... and the sick included brittle bits of plastic. Although she was behaving normally, I spent the next day or two imagining sharp bits of plastic perforating her gut and wondering if I ought to take her to the vet, but no plastic appeared in her poo! Fortunately all was well!

Could someone please explain what a prong of a plug is. I’m Canadian and pretty well versed in UK sayings but I’m not sure about this one.

I guess it’s the little metal handle thingy at the top of the plug that you grab onto to pull the plug out. I could be totally wrong! :)

An elecrical plug? Oh dear, I was thinking bath plug too!

How is Stanley? I hope it was only that bit of the plug that he found and not the whole thing. :(
