I always found that my cat was fine ( if a little annoyed at first ! ) as long as she had a good escape route and a place to go where the pesky puppy couldn't get to her . They do become friends, eventually and usually, the cat ends up as boss ! Nothing more scary for an approaching puppy to be faced with that arched back and hissing noise , they soon stop the game that they cant win !

I was wondering how do I stop my nearly 6month old puppy chasing our cat?
Our cat doesn't hiss or anything!
I try to get Mason to stay or sit but too late he has gone!
