Never mind, Holly, it’s a good chance to get extra snuggles from your mum. Your dad’s probably missing you too, so you can jump all over him when he gets back, preferably with muddy paws. ;)

I like it when Dad's away, me and Mum do the bestest things :). When Dad's here she says she has to do puter things or we won't have any of that papery stuff to pay for all my things (and vets visits pparently o_O ).

I'm not sure I'd want papery things to pay for vets visits. Can mum only get papery things to pay for nice stuff?

Mum BANDONED us this morning. She said she was going skee-ing for an hour because it was a pow-duh day. I looked sad when she left but when she got home she caught me having snuggles with Dave who sometimes comes here to sit on my sofa while he reads a book. I like Dave. I don't really know why he always comes round when Mum goes out, though. Maybe they don't really like each other? Hmm.

Aw, Holly - that's not good. But you'll get his space on the bed, right? And you know he'll be back soon, don't you? Don't be miserable, we're not supposed to be miserable, we're Labradors.

I've done another silly thing. Yesterday I swallowed a cork cos it was just lying on the path. I snatched it really quickly before mum could stop me. Well, today I tried to poo in the garden at lunchtime and again in the woods this afternoon, but mum couldn't find anything. So... guess what... she took me to the bum lady. The bum lady felt my tummy and then took me away to stick things up my bum but cos I'm still so bouncy she said just to wait and see. I might have to go back tomorrow for anxrayundersedashun cos the bum lady says I won't keep still if they go out of the room. I hope I poo soon. :(

Oh no Tuppy you don't want anxrayundersedashun :( . Did the cork taste nice?
I haven't eaten a cork (yet), I like to eat things that Mum says might be poisenous.

I kept his pillow warm for him and tried to be waggy for mum. It was hard. Dad got home about an hour ago and it was wonderful. I couldn't stop wagging, and brought him lots of toys to play with. I've just collapsed across his feet so I know if he tries to go anywhere.

I don’t know because I didn’t taste it, I just swallowed it. Poisenous doesn’t sound good, though, Ripple. I don’t think you should do that, though it’s tricky to know what’s poisenous isn’t it cos tasty things seem good.

Mum poked me just now cos I was lying so still on the sofa next too her, but I’ve now played ball with Wispa and a bit of bitey face too and now I’m helping her on the tappy thing. Wispa’s watching Supervet but I’ve had enough of vets for today.

I’m cuddling my mummy too, Nelly. If Su’s a bum lady I hope you feel better tomorrow. Bum ladies are best avoided.

oh Tuppy & Nelly - please feel better soon. The only odd thing I've done today is two slightly loose poos on my walk this afternoon. It would have been funny because mum & dad only had one bag between them :D But there were some boxes on posts with poo bags in them  Anyway - I am very tired now...

I've been sick today too Nelly. Mum said never mind Annie it does matter.

I hope you are alright Tuppy and don't need to go to the bum lady. Try and do a big poo.

I went to the beach yesterday morning and played swimmy fetch with my friends for a whole hour....only problem is they take my toy all the time and now I won't get my own toy anymore. So daddy is going to buy me a new one just for me. Anyhow I then had a massive drink from the shower tap by the beach and then decided to throw up twice. I ate it all back because all my treats came up....well I need those. People walking past thought it was discusting...not sure what that means but daddy just laughed and asked 'does it taste good?'. silly silly questions.
Then in the afternoon we went to my favourite wine place. I get special doggy wine, get to go inside (only me, I am special). we had something to eat and a play...
see my special wine, ii is nice and tasty with a hint of beef, chicken and cheese... just not sure if that is because of what I just ate..

This morning mummy came to the beach too, but it was a short trip. She did not want to stay for long so it is very boring, apparently it is because she can't walk far as it hurts after a while...hope she gets better soon so that we can go for longer...

Hope everybody is OK today and feeling better at both ends...I don't like bum lady as I had to go last week and I know have tablets for a whole week...

My mum has been really sad this week so I've given her extra snuggles. Today I made her smile coz I punched her hat and got her to chase me around the house. We then went for a walk and plaid hide n seek in the woods which was fun. When we were leeving I seen my friends so had a long play (extra time out today) then when we got home daddy was there and we plaid and I had hoolies and made mum and dad laugh :)
