hi, my assistance dog has had sudden toileting changes this week, wondering if anyone can shed light on this please? He usually toilets twice a day, in morning and night. But now is going up to four or five times a day, some amount that he would when going twice a day, so he’s not going tiny amounts. We have had to stay away from home, but I had taken his favourite toys and bed. He seems relaxed. Could this settle when he is back home and back in routine you think please? He isn’t having any different food so that won’t be giving him different food. Thanks for any information
Labradors can be very sensitive creatures where change is concerned . I certainly found with my boy , that if we went away for a holiday or family visit, he would accept all of this with seemingly no issues, but his toilet habits would sometimes alter . I wouldn't worry about it too much , normal service will most likely return when you get home .
Yes, it’s not unusual for their spending routines to change with a change of place. This is because all their other routines have changed too. He’ll get be]ack to normal when he comes home
I agree with the previous comments. I always take bottled water for my girl when we're going away and gradually introduce the local water as it helps prevent the funny tummy for us.
