    It's the stuff of nightmares.
I have trodden on slugs with bare feet and it really creeps me out, invading my dreams.

Crappy week. Poor Ella has had only 2 walks in 3 days and one of the "walks" was a play at the park with the ball chucker and a quick training session.

Poor Nathan has had a terrible cough for over a week and managed to end up in hospital with pneumonia.

It's times like this that I wish I had family or a reliable dog walker/carer that we could call in at short notice.

    What a worry @Emily

I hope Nathan's feeling better soon, I'm sure Ella won't mind. She's such a good big sister she'll just be worried about her baby brother x

Oh yeah, if you don't have family or a dog walker then the dog misses out when the kids are sick. I hope Nathan recovers quickly, poor little guy.

Moos driving me insane, I know she see it as her job but I could have strangled her today. It's been bark bark bark all day, and let me out let me in let me up the garden do this for that. She's snoring her head off now tired after her busy day bossing me about. It's the stare that gets me she's just a cheeky little git.

I sent the Pig out for a blind retrieve this morning but she didn’t set off in a straight line so went a little off course. Much to my surprise she returned with a Costa coffee cup, half full of frozen coffee and carefully delivered it to hand o_O thanks Piggy for my Iced Latte delivery but I prefer skimmed milk next time :D

    What's wrong with this picture??
Scene: Me heaving a basket of heavy wet washing out of the washing machine and then:
Challenge 1: Navigate across yellow lump of fur who has draped himself across the doorway and has no intention of moving even to save mum potentially falling and damaging herself
Challenge 2: Navigate across the back porch that is strewn with half-chewed egg cartons, empty juice bottles, furry animals, balls, sticks (note to self, should do a play area clean up)
Challenge 3: Trip on the hose that has been carefully removed from the clip on the wall and dragged across the back path
Challenge 4: Finally reach clothes line. Phew. Start pegging and see something move out of the corner of my eye. There is large yellow lump of fur who has finally raised himself and snuck up to nick a sock out of the basket. Off he goes, tail happily wagging and looking back to see if I will chase him.
    Sigh
But I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Just got back from dog school - there was a new couple there, the chap had an adult choccy called Charlie with zero recall and his wife had a choccy puppy called Leo who put Charlie to shame. I held Leo for his long recall, he was snaffling down some horse poo he'd picked up and he kept gazing up at me as he chewed - my! my! those needle teeth - how do you puppy-parents cope? Hats off to you all.

My neighbour was laughing at Moo on her walk. Moo wanted to go home so she kept barking at me and pestering me to go home. My neighbour said her eyes are still glittering with the old Moo mischief and she still had that attitude. She does her body is wobbly but she's still got it all going on upstairs.shes sleeping well tonight after a nice walk and she's been better at settling.
