I really struggle with cleaning the inside of the Pig’s teeth, as she is happy for me to clean her teeth but she keeps her mouth closed so I can only reach the outside of all of them. I have recently bought this thing
    https://iheartdogs.com/product/brit...Petros_BriteBite&utm_content=Petros_BriteBite
which is a rubber bristled thing they chew, and I am so far very pleased with it! You can put some logic gel in amongst the bristles. The Pig doesn’t normally like rubber chews or kongs unless there is something yummy smeared on or in it, but she loved this even without the toothpaste, and chews it on all sides of her mouth including the front. She holds it nicely by the handles and looks like a good clever pig cleaning her own fangs like a big girl :) obviously haven’t had it very long yet though so can’t vouch for how well it works in the long run, but I am hopeful especially with the logic gel on it.

The vet told me not to worry about trying to brush the insides and to focus on the outside.

It says on the packet, 5cm for a big dog. I do 2cm on each side (outside only) and 1cm on the front teeth. It lasts ages.

Thanks for the advice @SilverFalcon and @Jojo83 - saved me an expensive and probably useless trial of the chews!

I was wondering about the chews also, but I’ll stick with the paste. Gizmo gets a half cm line and Axel gets 2.5cms on the one side and 2.5 cms on the other. I’m also going through it quicker then I thought I would be but I’m loving the changes. I figure once his back tooth is clear then I can drop the amount of paste I use.

My friend is going to the UK in April, so I’m hoping she will be able to find the toothpaste and bring some home for me to save me shipping costs. Can she pick it up at any pet store there or is it sold in certain places? I’m not sure where she is going exactly... I’ll have to ask her today.

You may have to order it online and have it delivered somewhere in the UK where she can pick it up.

I think it's best bought online here, my vets sell it but it's twice the price of Amazon .

Thanks for that link Helen, I'm running low. Even with the £2.99 they slapped on for postage it's still cheaper than Pets at Home.

I dislike paying for postage so I ordered over the £29 worth of toothpaste or wormers, flea stuff anything you need, it's a really good site. It's always handy to keep stock. :) x

Yes, it was ashamedly my first ever submission to Facebook targeted marketing! They showed a video of it and I thought it looked really good. The postage actually was pretty cheap and luckily didn’t get any tax on it (unlike the Pig’s Pig collar )

Perhaps Kelsey’s friend can bring one over in return for logic gel :D and thus, the Labrador Forum Black Market for Dental Hygiene Products is born.

I'm already stocked up on flea & worm . I know to be more organised next time :)
Am I the only person who loves targeted advertising? Remember the old days of the internet when you got porn advertised all the time? Ugh!

I keep thinking I should be cleaning inky's teeth but I'm ashamed to say haven't done it yet. What size of that brush thing did you get Lara ? That looks like something inky would enjoy and I could stop feeling guilty.
