I'm so utterly pi**ed off. Chemo every 3weeks now 3weeks! And if I get a cold it's straight onto anti biotics oh I could really stamp my feet. The only thing that saved me was Rory deciding it would be fun to lick my hairly legs, that really makes me giggle. He's given me big hugs too. He's been so brave this week he got charged and shouted at by a staffy twice and ignored and calmed the situation. This dog was ready to attack but I stayed calm talked gently and Rory stayed calm and defused the dogs aggression. Of course the owner did nothing,. But a woman walking her dog nearby commented on how calm and confident Rory seemed. Im sure like me he was scared about what was going to happen but we got through it. It wasn't nice but Im pleased to see that Rory is getting more confident .

@SwampDonkey That’s rotten for you. I’m glad that Rory helps to keep your spirits up.

I walk with a lady who has just finished three months chemo, this last one was the worst, she now has to wait to see if it has reduced the tumour. Walking with her beloved Greyhound is what keeps her going as it does with you and Rory, our dogs give us so much xx

You need structure and a reason to get up and move. I also did some reading and found that exercise can help reroute pain. Walking definately does help. I hope your friend get the results she wants. Those big eradication doses are crippling.

Rory really is a good lad. Sorry you've got so much chemo, we'll keep fingers & paws crossed that you don't get any colds. Spring is springing for you xx
We've got a Blue tit back, roosting in one of our boxes.He/she has shuffled the mossy bits around.

I was laughing at the goldfinches fussing in the hedges. They were being very bossy with each other. It won't be a huge dose as I get a small dose but it's all the time. What bothers me is recovery time. It's getting shorter and shorter periods of time. It's will he ok but if it gets too much I will say no more,. I will do 4 weeks and stay at 4 weeks.

Oh gosh I wish I could put my finger on what is Pig-like about him! Perhaps it’s just his expression! He’s gorgeous (but I am biased...)

You can get a 'dog monitor' app for £4.99.
Haven't got one but it's quite well reviewed.

Ugh this is the last week of daylight saving in NZ *sniffs* My house is on the wrong side of a hill so I get way less sun in winter, it's a bummer :/ I hope that spring is starting to sprung for those of you in the US/Canada/ Europe!

Beautiful morning here in Cheshire. Went out for a walk with my two first thing. Then out in the garden in the greenhouses getting things sorted for the coming year. Annie did a bit of sunbathing and Fred just checked out the greenhouse for mice. Just come in for a coffee.

Waiting for my flight to head home from vacation. We are missing Quinn and have taken picture of tons of street dogs while here in Cuba :p they are very friendly and tail waggy. In Havana, the are tagged with their names, if they are fixed and some other facts and are taken care of (to what extent I don’t know) which made me a bit happy. Wish I could bring some home!

Stanley jumped in the beck on his walk with OH.

He came back absolutely stinking - I said well I'm busy so you'll have to wash him.

All I can hear from outside is "aww what a good lad - I know you don't like it, but it is your own fault mate". :cwl::cwl:
