Hi Just introducing myself. I am from NZ and Hugo, a yellow lab, is 8 weeks old today. He has a big sister Molly, who is a 3 year old cocker spaniel. She is being an awesome sister. I am loving all the information on this forum. Thank you
A big welcome from Maxx and I in Sydney. Nice to have more friends from the 'down under' part of the world. My hubby is from NZ and even after 29 years living here he is still 100% Kiwi. So we pretend to fight over which Rugby team Maxx will go for. I think the All-blacks are going to win that argument! Although he doesn't know that I am secretly trolling the internet looking for Wallaby-coloured dog clothing. Call the divorce lawyers!
Welcome from me and Xena in Porirua! There's a small "down under" community on here, but none of the Kiwis have stuck around so far (except me!). Where abouts are you? This forum was a lifesaver when I got Xena, Labradors are HARD WORK.
Ditto. We nearly gave Maxx back to the breeder thinking we were doing everything wrong and making his life miserable (along with ours) but now he is a semi-well-behaved pup of 6 months (although I look ahead to adolescence with some dread)
Welcome from me, Wispa (6) and Tuppence (4), in the UK. Looking forward to hearing more about Hugo - with photos, please!
Hi and a big welcome from me and Pongo in (old!) South Wales! We visited NZ this year for the first time (that's hubby and me, not Pongo....). What a great country you have! Where are you?
Welcome! I lived in Sydney for 9 years (and visited NZ a few times for work and holidays) so I feel a little bit part of the Downunder community. And I’m still below the equator in South Africa.
Welcome to you from Mags, Tatze and Keir from Manchester UK Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab and she's five years old. Tatze means 'paw' in German. Keir is my sixth Guide Dog puppy, a yellow Golden Retriever/Flatcoat cross and he's nine months old.
Welcome from me, Hattie 10 years and our rescue boy Charlie 7 years. My Daughter Grace recently returned from a year travelling/working in NZ, she loved it very much, such a beautiful country xx
I am in Oamaru - snow all around us today so very cold! Bit too far away for a play date! I have had a lab before -a chocolate who died4 days after his 6 th birthday. I was devastated - he had been hard work for3 years! But the last three he was amazing! Molly our cocker spaniel missed him like crazy. She keeps an eye on Hugo!
I am in Oamaru,South Island. Not far from Mount Cook. Hour and a bit north of Dunedin. Very cold today with snow around!
I'm very sorry to hear about your Lab loss, he was much too young Oh it must be beautiful down there today, Otago is the most beautiful part of NZ, hands down.
